Since its launch, Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” has been reported to have several bugs and glitches. Recently, players have discovered a new bug that is potentially harmful to those playing the PC version of the game.

Several players took to the forums of Bethesda to voice out their complaints and concerns about one particular bug. The bug in question is encountered during one of the settlement reclamation quests, which direct the players to Mosignor Plaza. When players do so, the game crashes without any error message.

“Been playing for around 10 hours now with no problems and now doing a Settlement quest where I have to go to Monsignor but everytime I go there it crashes straight to the desktop without any error message, there isn't one in the Event Viewer either. I've searched for a while before posting but only found some other people who have had this crash on Reddit (They were doing the BoS questline), I've tried the Beta patch but it's the same,” said JoeBBBB on the Bethesda forums.

The user also noted that there have been several reports of the bug on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions too. So far, there’s no fix for the issue. However, several players have tried to track down the exact point where the bugs occur. Doing so allowed them to look for ways to work around the bugs. Most of the workarounds include avoiding getting past a certain point in the story.

So far, this is the only harmful bug found within the game, although players have experienced other odd bugs, the most recent of which is the headless characters on screen, GearNuke reports. Meanwhile, other glitches work to the players' advantage, such as the infinite bottlecap exploit.
