Since "Fallout 4's" release, fans have spent countless hours exploring the wastelands of the Commonwealth in the game. Aside from the tons of quest lines to accomplish, players are also treated to dozens of side quests and other features in the title. Despite already providing hours upon hours of game time to players, developer Bethesda is apparently still looking to expand the game next year.

In an interview with Red Carpet Report, which can be seen below, the developer revealed that the planned downloadable content (DLC) for the title will be based on fan feedback.

"It's going to be well deep into next year. It's like the game is done but it's not done, because until everybody plays it, it's not really done. Because what they bring to it is really important; we're going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and we're going to do that," said game director Todd Howard.

Howard’s statement opened up several new areas for speculation. With the planned DLCs, the game’s explorable open-world could be expanded more to provide areas for new quest lines. So far, the open-world has been criticised by many for being smaller than Bethesda’s other title, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” In Bethesda’s defence, however, the Commonwealth found in “Fallout 4” is a vast wasteland without geographic barriers like mountains, meaning there’s more room for exploration. Aside from that, the Commonwealth is also more dense.

So far, not much is known about the planned 2016 DLCs for the game. Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that a US$30 (AU $42) Season Pass for "Fallout 4" will be available soon.
