Ford has revealed more details about the upcoming Falcon due to the release in the latter part of 2014. According to the reports, the upcoming Ford Falcon will have the 000 technology that can, in fact, save lives.

Ford Falcon is going to be the first vehicle made in Australia that will be able to dial 000 automatically in case the car meets with a crash. There must be a phone in the car that is paired via bluetooth. The airbags will instantly call emergency services at 000. If the emergency services operator is not able to make voice contact with any of the passengers in the car, the 000 service will send fire, ambulance and police officers to the scene. The location of the crash will be determined by the GPS coordinator which the phone sends.

Ford has plans to discontinue Falcon from 2016. The latest technology may turn out to be a pioneering effort in Australian car industry. The automated 000 technology used in the upcoming Ford Falcon is expected to save several casualties. People may especially benefit from the technology when they travel to remote locations where it is more difficult get in touch with emergency services.

The final Falcon is going to keep the FG series prefix that is already there in the current model. The official name of the upcoming model will be the FG X. The F represents the Fairmont while the G represents Ghia, the former nameplates on Falcons. The X represents the original 1960 model. Interestingly, this is the first time that the Falcon is not going to be recognised by a two-letter model code model code. This is going to be the only time the Falcon will have a three-letter code.

According to Bob Graziano, the president of Ford Australia, the dedicated customers of the company are already aware of their story. That is why it is appropriate to acknowledge the enthusiasts as well as every Australian that "Falcon is a significant part of the fabric of the Australian cultural landscape," he said, "The FG X carries this on and will be recognised as one of the best Falcons ever."
