She's known to be one, if not the biggest diva in the music industry today. And upon finding out that another diva is a candidate to join the "Idol" panel, Mariah was not impressed.

It comes as no surprise to find out that Mariah Carey was certainly not happy knowing that Nicki Minaj is likely to sit with her on the "American Idol" judge panel. With her diva behavior, Mariah reportedly hung up the phone when she was told that Nicki was possibly joining the team.

According to TMZ, Mariah was not very happy upon finding out that the 29-year-old "Super Bass" singer is on top of the list on to be the next "Idol" judge. But as soon as the rumors came out, Mariah's spokesperson denied all the speculations.

"This is not true. Mariah is too much of a lady to ever do such a thing," Mariah's spokeswoman said.

The news came out after "American Idol" producers are struggling to find the last judge to fill in the gap for the next season. Since Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler has dropped out from the talent show, only Randy Jackson remains as judge.

Enrique Iglesias, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley are the top male names that are considered in the event that Randy also quits from the show. But from yesterday, it was reported that Nicki was the front runner in winning the "Idol" judge seat.

"I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it,' a source told Us Weekly," a source told US Weekly. "A few more things to sign off on but it is happening."
