A tearful Rihanna reveals on her interview with Oprah Winfrey that she "still loves" her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

While their relationship status remains to be a blur for many, Rihanna finally sets in some light as she reveals on Oprah's "Next Chapter" how she feels about Chris Brown.

The 24-year-old Barbadian singer confessed on her interview that despite all the violence, she still feels something for Brown and that they remain "very close friends." Her statement probably justifies why she hasn't been in a long tern relationship after her failed one with Brown.

In addition to that, Rihanna revealed some juicy details that would stake through the heart of Brown's current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

"I still love him. We're very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will," Rihanna said.

Together with her confessions, she also recounted details of the horrific details of the assault back in 2009 and explained where her relationship with Chris now stands. Rihanna said that they have been rebuilding their friendship since restrictions for Brown has been lifted last year.

"We've been working on our friendship again and now we're very close friends. And that's not anything we're going to try to change," she said.

"It's awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain it and suppress it."

But even if she admitted her feelings for Brown, she came in defense and said that they are not trying to pursue a romantic relationship. The singer was however very vocal in calling Brown the "love of her life."

"I think he is the love of my life. He was my first love. We were very young and very spontaneous. We were falling in love and going at a really rapid pace. We forgot about ourselves as individuals," Rihanna said.
