Treyarch has confirmed that “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will, indeed, be out on November 6, which is a weekend, particularly Friday. According to Gotta Be Mobile, the developers purposely chose to release the much awaited game on a weekend so that its players have more time to enjoy it, before school or work comes on Monday.

“The ‘Black Ops’ series is the most played in ‘Call of Duty’ history – with nearly 100 million players to date,” Rob Kostich, Activision Publishing’s senior vice president, told Forbes. “With ‘Black Ops 3,’ the team at Treyarch is really taking things to a new level. There is so much in this game across every mode of play.”

Apparently, the game’s developers completely “reimagined” its Campaign mode, making cooperative play with friends easily accessible. Now, gamers can also play with four others through the same “Black Ops 3” storyline.

There is a new movement option that allows gamers to jump, slide, and thrust in a relatively new manner, instead of merely using an exoskeleton. These stunts just might come in handy especially with a Zombie option that will surely add horror to the new game. The game’s Multi-Player mode will also reportedly bring “a ton of depth and new ideas to the experience.”

“Zombies, of course, are back,” Kostich added. “We thought it would be really fun for the fans to kick off ‘Black Ops 3’ on a weekend. So, giving fans as much time as possible out of the gate to experience all the game has to offer just made a lot of sense.”

According to the report, the game’s developers even added some extra special during the first weekend of the game, giving the fans a Double XP weekend.

Furthermore, Activision may not have revealed any more specific details regarding the game, but it is highly speculated that players will finally get a chance to level up at a much faster pace during the first several days after “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” is launched.
