"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" from Treyarch will be released on Nov. 6. Activision

A new string of details has just surfaced about the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” According to multiple online news sources, the game’s beta version will be out shortly before its rumored release in November.

David Vonderhaar of Treyarch confirmed on his Twitter page that the beta will be launched in digital form. This means that there will be no disc and that it will not be packaged with another game from Activision. Gamers who have pre-ordered “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will have a download code to expect.

Although the game is relatively different from the “Black Ops 2,” Vonderhaar has revealed that the game’s design goals are actually not that different from its predecessor. The streaks will reportedly still be fun and rewarding, just like they were in the “Black Ops 2.” It is quite expected that Treyarch will be making some special announcements regarding the game’s streaks and multiplayer feature during E3, which has already been scheduled for next month, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

Although “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Vonderhaar has promised that the game was specifically designed for PC enjoyment. It was only “concurrently” developed “with the other platforms.” It would appear that PC COD gamers have something huge to look forward to, especially as the game is being regarded as Treyarch’s best PC title yet.

Popular YouTuber, LonelyMailbox, has come up with some new speculations on the game’s possible maps, according to the hints that Treyarch has dropped so far. As indicated in Game Ranx, there could be an Underwater Zombies Map – one that will most likely feature Atlantis Zombies. This particular idea has actually been quite popular for a couple of years now.

The Drive-In Map of “Black Ops 1” featured a movie map for Beast from Below, which alludes to an underwater encounter. “Black Ops 2” had some direct references to Atlantis, but the context seemed to have come from out of nowhere. Lastly, the reveal trailer of “Black Ops 3” featured underwater gameplay.
