This year's Game Awards has set high hopes for fans, especially after host Geoff Keighley's statement of people "going crazy" for what's about to come. Leaks of what should be expected still haven't arrived, given that the event will already be held on Dec. 5.

For now, there are a few confirmations for the event. DualShockers reports that there will be reveals for the PS4 and Xbox One in terms of content. This means that regardless of the show's title, awards are not the only thing to be expected.

In fact, Keighley has been quoted as saying that there will be over a dozen game premieres, though it should be expected that some of these announcements are not as grand as the others. Games that have been pushed back to next year may also get their own updates during the event.

Naughty Dog's Teaser

Developer Naughty Dog has also been a bit quiet for the past few months, but in the background, fans are expecting something along the lines of an "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" revelation. It's also the perfect time to do so, since it's already the end of the year, and all bets are in seeing more of what has been teased some months ago.

"Saw a sneak peek of something that's happening at @thegameawards that has me very excited. Can't wait. See you on Friday, Vegas," said Neil Druckmann in a tweet as quoted by Technobuffalo.

Based on what was teased, there's a big possibility that Druckmann is teasing a footage. What the game is supposed to be, that's what fans will find out at The Game Awards.

'Fallout 4' And Unending Rumours

It has been months since anything had been heard about "Fallout 4" from Bethesda. The last that had been in the limelight was an ingenious hoax perpetrated by a fan, where other fans have started to hope that it was a teaser from Bethesda, only to find out otherwise.

Now, another rumour is brewing, with "Fallout 4" in the middle of it. According to Master Herald, despite Bethesda's warning about trusting rumour-based reports, the sighting of Keighley's tweet where he is with Bethesda's team has gotten the rumour mill up and about as well.

Since The Game Awards has been a venue where Bethesda has revealed some of its key titles, and the fact that host Geoff Keighley has been spotted with Bethesda days before the event, it's hard for fans not to put the two together. If "Fallout 4" will really come out of this deal, then The Game Awards 2014 has just become a must-watch event for fans of the franchise.
