A preview video of “Star Wars Rebels” Season 3 episode 4 has been released online. The video shows an interaction between Hera and Grand Admiral Thrawn. The villainous character will explore the Twi’lek’s background and family.

[Spoiler alert]

After being a captive of Darth Maul (Sam Witwer), Hera Syndulla (Vanessa Marshall) will get to interact with Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) in the next episode. Unlike the last time, the Rebel doesn’t appear to be arrested. The new villain will use his unique approach to dealing with the Rebellion.

Thrawn has studied everything about Hera and her background. He says that he has learnt the Art of War and aims to perfect it. But, he points out, Hera was forged by war. It’s all that she has ever known. She was young during the Clone Wars, which is the reason why she has the spirit to fight against the Empire, according to the villain.

The conversation in “Star Wars Rebels” Season 3 episode 4 appears to be taking place on the planet Ryloth, which is the home planet of Hera. She appears to have gone to the planet dressed as a peasant to meet her father. While the Imperial officer with Thrawn is unable to see through her disguise, the villain is well aware of her identity.

Thrawn introduces Hera as the daughter of the freedom fighter Cham Syndulla (Robin Atkin Downes), who emerged as a major figure on Ryloth during the Clone Wars and continues to play an important role. The villain calls Hera their host, which suggests that they are in her ancestral home.

The main focus on “Star Wars Rebels” Season 3 episode 4 appears to be the Rebel pilot. The title of the episode is “Hera’s Heroes.” The plot of the previous episode was about the Rebels recruiting Imperial pilots. Will Thrawn attempt to turn Hera to their side in the next episode?
