A leaked scene description of “Star Wars: Episode 8” reveals the first scene of Finn. The character’s journey was the main focus of the first film in the new trilogy, along with the journey of another new character Rey.

[Spoiler alert]

Finn (John Boyega) was injured in his final fight against Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in “The Force Awakens.” A new report by Making Star Wars states that his first scene in the next movie will focus on his recovery. There will be no time gap between movies this time around, which is a departure from the previous trilogies that had significant time gaps between films.

So, the first scene of Finn in the next movie, according to the leak, will be of the character placed in a bubble suit by the medical staff, to aid in his recovery. The report confirms that the suit will be known as the bacta suit, which is similar to the bacta tank that is regular feature in the franchise to show characters healing from a serious injury.

The scene in “Star Wars: Episode 8” will be Finn coming out of the bacta suit after having fully recovered from his injury. The suit will be cut open, presumably by the medical staff, and the character will emerge “in better condition than ever before.”

After recovering from his injuries Finn will embark on a journey that will make him a “big deal” for the Resistance. The report does not reveal the reason why he has to take a journey and what his mission details are.

Filming for “Star Wars: Episode 8” has already wrapped, and the movie is currently in the post production phase. The fans are now eagerly waiting for the title reveal and details about the plot. The film is set to be released on Dec. 15, 2017 in Australia.
