More details about Supreme Leader Snoke are expected to be revealed in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” A new theory looks at the possibility of a character from “Legends” being the inspiration behind the leader of the First Order.

[Spoiler alert]

In a new video on the YouTube channel of Mike Zeroh, a theory looks at the possibility of Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) being inspired by the “Legends” character Kadann. Very little is known about the leader of the First Order, and the identity and role of the character are the subject of speculation among fans. That’s where Kadann comes in.

Kadann was a former Jedi who turned to the Dark Side, and later went on to become Supreme Prophet of the Dark Side. The title of the former Jedi is interesting, given its similarity with Snoke’s title. The “Legends” character believes that the way to master the Force is to have knowledge of both the Light as well as the Dark side.

Another theory of Mike is that the hologram of Snoke seen in “The Force Awakens” will be revealed to be a decoy of some sort in “Star Wars: Episode 8.”

Fans are eagerly waiting for details about Rian Johnson’s movie. Perhaps the first thing the fans can expect to see is a teaser video or poster revealing the title of the film.

In another video, Mike examines the possibility of a title reveal next month. Mike points out that Disney, at the moment, may be putting all their energy on ensuring the success of “Rogue One,” the first spin-off movie from the franchise.

So, a teaser or any revelation about “Star Wars: Episode 8” just before the release of “Rogue One” may confuse the casual fans. Mike explains that it will not be confusing to the core fan group of the franchise, but concedes that the casual fan may get confused. So, the fans will have to wait a little longer in order to get more details about Johnson’s movie.
