The frustration of not seeing even a teaser for “Star Wars: Episode 8” is slowly starting to grow among the fans. One fan video addresses this delay in releasing the trailer in a funny way.

A video posted on the YouTube channel of Egotastic Fun Time! takes a dig at Kathleen Kennedy for her comments about giving some “breathing room” before releasing a trailer of Rian Johnson’s movie.

The fan jokes about waiting for an announcement about when they will announce the release of a teaser trailer, which will not have any footage from the film. Kennedy had previously said that the fans will start to see something as we head into spring, which is still some time away.

The first trailer of “The Force Awakens” was released in Nov 2014, which is over a year before the actual release date of the film. This time around there has been a deliberate delay in releasing anything about “Star Wars: Episode 8” because Disney was focusing on the first spin off film “Rogue One.”

Fans have already watched “Rogue One” and are now eager to see what’s in store for the next holiday season. The anticipation is slightly higher because some fans believe that Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) may have been teased in the spin off film.

The fan video sarcastically remarks that the next movie is only over 11 months away, and we can expect an announcement about the first teaser trailer “pretty soon.”

The first full trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 8” is expected to be released during the Celebrations event in April, but the fans may get to see or hear something about it a few weeks before the event. The producers are also yet to reveal the actual name of the film, which may give some hints about what the plot will be about.
