People are perfectly aware of Simon Cowell's attitude, but are the judges of "X-Factor" warned of this?

Aside from the last night's elimination in Fox's hit singing competition "X-Factor," the latest is Simon Cowell traded insults with co-judge and Interscope Records owner L.A. Reid.

Simon Cowell said before that he expected that he will clash with L.A. Reid merely because the latter is person who is willing to speak his mind and have his own opinion. Simon said that is the reason why he wanted him on the show.

It seems that Simon Cowell not only clashes with L.A. Reid but also with Pussycat Dolls' star Nicole Scherzinger. There are reports that say that Nicole and Simon are at each others' throat and criticize both each other and their contestants regardless if these are just about minor details.

It is unclear when the Simon-Nicole feud started. However, it may have started when reviewers preferred Cheryl Cole over the Pussycat Doll darling. There was even a time during the two-and-a-half hour show when Nicole looked straight at the camera and sarcastically said, "Thanks a lot for the support right now, Simon. It's the first live show. Awesome."

Simon gave a backhand of insult to Nicole when he was criticizing the contestant Dexter by saying, "You're interesting and you're unpredictable, much like your mentor."

During the past week, Simon's targets were L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul but, the audience bought it as professional exchange of thoughts. The case with Simon and Nicole on the other hand seems somehow serious.

When Simon was still the host of the hit talent show "American Idol," many rejected contestants stormed out of the room crying because of Simon's blunt criticisms. However, there are reports saying that the bickering between the judges is just scripted. Is there really a drama in the judges' table or is it just part of the script?
