The elusive singer Sia Furler has finally revealed why she hides her face by wearing a trademark wig – that covers major portion of her face. The “Chandelier” singer feels like a “prey” for paparazzi and hiding her face makes her escape that feeling. But what happens when her crew forgets her face-concealing wig?

The mysterious singer forgot her huge blonde wig for a recent performance at her native Australia's Sunrise morning show. But the singer-songwriter still did not perform normally by showing off her face. She wore a Japanese-inspired kimono dress that had a huge tinsel head gear. Her face was hidden behind the large technicolour head piece.

The Australian singer/songwriter also performed her hit single “Chandelier” from her album “1000 Forms of Fear,” live on Sunrise on April 21. Check out the video below. In a candid interview with host Samantha Armytage, the mysterious songstress addressed the issue of concealing her identity.

“You feel like prey and they’re the predator and you’re being hunted,” Sia is quoted as saying on the television show (via The Daily Telegraph, Australia). “Would you like to spend your life feeling like prey? Probably not,” she added. The singer also told the audience about an instance when she was on way to board a flight and was surrounded by paparazzi. Sia's friends, who accompanied her on the flight, were astonished to see the kind of attention given to her at the airport.

However, for Sia, it was an “unpleasant” experience as she thought that the chasing and running photographers “had diarrhea.” She just wants to lead a “regular life just like a regular person and still be able to make music and sing ... but without having to sacrifice just having a regular life.” The Aussie singer, who has written songs for Rihanna, Beyonce and Rita Ora, has released a new music video “Fire Meet Gasoline,” where she has traded her 12-year-old regular mini-me dancer Maddie Ziegler for Heidi Klum.

The music video also stars Pedro Pascal as Heidi's love interest. The actor plays the character of Oberyn Martell in “Game of Thrones.” “Fire Meet Gasoline” is the latest single from Sia's album “1000 Forms of Fear.”
