“He’s called Sasha which is Alexander in Russian. They've told me he looks like Gerard. Milan [their first son] looked like Shakira when he was born but this one looks more like his father,” the grandfather said. The great grandfather was unable to see the newborn because of his busy schedule.

Reporters had camped in Catalonia, outside Teknon Clinic, where Shakira gave birth to the child. Gerard, who plays Barcelona FC stuck to his normal routine, continuing his training and even going to Madrid for a match. The couple checked into the hospital, without being noticed.

This time around, too, the pop star hoped that her fans would be kind enough to help, according to reports. Before giving birth to her second son, Sasha, Shakira had appealed to her fans that now thay would want to help other children around the world and also contribute to a long-lasting solution for getting children living in extreme poverty the supplies they need to survive.
