Amy Schumer’s fan list seems to be expanding, and pop star Selena Gomez is the latest to express her admiration for the comedienne. Gomez shared her obsession on the “Trainwreck” star while presenting the Hollywood Comedy Award to Schumer during The Hollywood Film Awards on Sunday.

“I talk about her obsessively. I've tweeted her often. I try to impersonate her and it doesn't really work. I actually just met her so basically what I'm saying is I'm really happy that clearly Jennifer Lawrence wasn't able to do this tonight because I love you," Gomez said.

The “Heart Wants What It Wants” hitmaker also said that she has learned a lot from Schumer and that the comedienne makes her feel like a “badass.” “You say the things I wish I could say and you never ever make me feel bad about anything I do in my personal life," Gomez said, according to E Online.

Meanwhile, Schumer, who is known for her quick wit and humour, did not miss an opportunity during the awards show to do what she does best – comedy. She addressed her fellow honoree, director Tom Hooper, from the stage and said, "You know what, Hooper? Amber Heard may be your perfect girl but look at these thighs," she said, lifting her dress a little to show her thighs. "I told you back stage I was scared I was going to pull up my dress. I did it, [but] it's not on TV. It doesn't leave this room."

Schumer was awarded with the Hollywood Comedy Award for her outstanding work in “Trainwreck. The Hollywood Film Awards was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. During the event, Schumer nailed her red carpet look with a little black dress.

The award ceremony was hosted by James Corden, and the show's presenters included Hollywood A-listers such as Ryan Gosling, Reese Witherspoon, Johnny Depp, Dakota Johnson and Jake Gyllenhaal.
