Selena Gomez may have been a bit busy with her "Stars Dance" tour but that hasn't stopped her from dropping by a few fashion shows. The brunette beauty was last spotted at the Milan Fashion Week speaking with none other than Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour. Does this mean Selena Gomez is likely to replace Miley Cyrus on the cover of the prestigious magazine?

Following her raunchy MTV Video Music Awards performance, Miley Cyrus who had originally been eyed for the December Vogue cover had been fired. According to reports, the Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour was the least bit pleased by the show Cyrus pulled off.

"Anna found the whole thing distasteful," says a source to The Daily Mail, adding, "She decided, based on Miley's performance, to take the cover in a different direction."

With Miley out of Vogue, it looks like another former Disney star is set to replace her. Cyrus' opponent in countless awards, iTunes top charts and the Billboards, Selena Gomez had been spotted out and about with Anna Wintour in Italy for the past few days.

Selena Gomez and Anna Wintour were seen hanging out by the same hotel lobby over the weekend. Could the two be planning on a Vogue cover? Given Gomez has landed quite a few covers for Teen Vogue, it's high time the "Come & Get It" singer would land her first Vogue cover.

Other singers in the business had already graced the cover of the mogul magazine namely Rihanna, Adele, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez. With the "Stars Dancing" for Gomez this year, a Vogue cover is just one to add sparks to her lucky 2013. If Gomez does manage to nab a cover for Vogue, it would certainly be another slap to the face for Miley Cyrus.
