Selena Gomez has made a comeback in social media after a three-month hiatus. She has posted her first message on Instagram for 2017, saying simply “Vente pa’ ca,” which translates to “come over here” in English.

“Vente pa’ ca” is also the title of Ricky Martin's single, which was released last year. Some fans have theorised that the “Hands to Myself” singer is hinting new album in her post, especially since the message was posted with a photo of a microphone.

Last year, songwriter Justin Tranter posted a photo of Gomez. Alongside the picture, he wrote, “'Music and love.” This has led some fans to assume that the two has been collaborating for new music.

Gomez’ latest album was 2015's “Revival.” It was her second studio album, in which she has worked with Julia Michaels for the single, “Hands to Myself.”

It’s also likely that the post is all about Gomez’ collaboration with Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio. The latter has previously announced that she was working with the international pop star for her upcoming album. Rubio’s new album is set to be released sometime this year.

“My new album is like another member of the team, or the family. It will be a true warrior, has something from all genres, from band to pop, collaborations of DJ Snake and Selena Gomez,” Rubio told Vanidades magazine.

Gomez currently has 106 million followers on Instagram. Several fans would agree that she is one of the most influential celebrities on the Internet. Her reputation has grown to such an extent that an estimated number of 200,000 fans become her online followers every day.

D’Marie Analytics reported that the singer’s posts on social media are valued at around $550,000 each. Famous brands like Coca-Cola collaborate with Gomez to post their products on her social media account.
