As the official announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is likely to happen during the IFA 2015, unconfirmed reports detailing the specifications of the Samsung’s high end phablet have cropped up. That’s not all, even the specifications of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are being digged out by mobile devices enthusiasts and experts.

The Galaxy Note 5 (codenamed ‘Project Noble’ internally) and the Galaxy S6 edge Plus (codenamed ‘Project Zen’ internally) are likely to feature 5.67-inch super AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and are expected to be available in four colors i.e black, gold, silver, and white, reports Sammobile. While the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a flat display, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will feature a dual-edge curved display and as per unconfirmed reports, both the phablets are expected to get feature glass backs just like the Galaxy S6 duo, so the possibility of not getting a removable battery or a microSD card slot is quite likely, as per the Sammobile report.

The Galaxy Note 5 is likely to be powered by the company’s new Exynos 7422 processor, which will be Samsung’s first all-in-one chipset that unites a 64-bit oct-core processor with a GPU, RAM, storage, and Samsung’s own LTE chip, reports PC World.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to get a different processor. The phone is likely to use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, which is used in the LG G4. The phone might come equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh battery pack, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, as per the PC World report.

According to a report on GSM Arena, The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 gets top-of-the-line chipset and large battery capacity, which is ideal for the power user, whereas, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will come packed with a lot of style and deliver a large screen experience.
