Cast members for this summer's exciting remake of Conan the Barbarian gathered for its Los Angeles premiere, with sultry actress Rose McGowan and hunky actor Jason Momoa stealing the show.

The movie, which first went into production in 1982 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones, is remade into a 3D extravaganza featuring some of the hottest celebrities of today. Although sharing the same title, the two movies are not related plot-wise, with the 3D version focusing more on a modern interpretation of Conan mythology. The plot tells the story of Conan venturing into a world of danger, deceit and struggles after his father dies. Conan develops his skill as a warrior and his personality as a barbarian after surviving numerous fights with monsters on his quest to search for his nemesis, Khalar Zym.

Hawaiian model and actor Jason Momoa plays the new age Conan the Barbarian, whose endearing and powerful masculine physique fits the bill perfectly. "Avatar" villain Stephen Lang plays another anti-hero named Khalar Zym, the warlord villain of the story, while "Jawbreaker" star Rose McGowan plays Marique, Khalar Zym's daughter who happens to be a powerful dark witch. The 37-year-old villainous beauty arrived in her signature red lips, a sparkly "Bluemarine" dress that made her look like a walking mermaid on "Brian Atwood" shoes.

Blonde bombshell Rachel Nichols plays beautiful novitiate Tamara, Conan's love interest, and "Hellboy" actor Ron Pearlman is Corin, a blacksmith and Conan's father in the movie. Bob Sapp and Steven O'Donnel, both actors who don frightening and intimidating looks, play two of Khalar Zym's sentry men, while British stage actor Nonso Anozie plays a skilled pirate who becomes Conan's friend.

Conan the Barbarian in 3D premieres on August 18 in Australia. Watch the movie's official trailer below.
