The British comedian is slowly turning himself into an entertainment mogul by setting up his own production company called "Branded Films".

The "Arthur" star has set up his own production company with long-time business associate Nik Linen, which will finance movies Brand will star in. Like many other production companies, Branded Films will be run in the heart of California at the Warner Bros Studios in Burbank. The comedian who married singer Katy Perry last year showed his blissful humor to entertainment site Deadline as he describes the goal of his new production company to "particularly welcome ideas that could feature a long-haired actor with an unintelligible accent."

"We at the newly founded Branded Films are very excited to announce our new company and the opportunity for puns that it affords us," says Brand in a statement posted by BBC. When asked where his production company will reside, the comedian did not fail to show his childish-yet-mature humor. "In that water tower in which some of the Looney Tunes also live," continues Brand in the same statement. Brand is the latest addition to the roster of actors who are allegedly in the middle of production contracts with Warner Bros. Other actors include "High School Musical" heartthrob Zac Efron, "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr., and Academy Award-winning tag team Matt Damon and Ben Afleck.

Russel Brand, who appeared in a Judd Apatow comedy with Jonah Hill and rap mogul Puff Daddy called "Get Him to the Greek" in 2010, has just finished filming the movie version of the musical "Rock of Ages".
