The fan-base for Psyonix’s indie game “Rocket League” is massive as the game is currently one of the most played title across the PlayStation 4 and PC to date. The developer of the hit racing/soccer hybrid is well-appreciative of the support hence it regularly releases new content for the players.

In a post made on the official Steam page of “Rocket League,” developer Psyonix has announced several new customisations for the game next month. The new content is made in partnership with Valve. Some of the players may be familiar with the new additions, which come from Valve’s most popular game “Portal.”

“Yes, dear friends, in an amazing display of professional b------, the fantastic folks at Valve Software have given Rocket League players one of the coolest things they'll ever see in our game -- officially-licensed Portal customisation items that are absolutely FREE!,” posted Psyonix.

The content will be made available as random drops which players can get after the matches. There will be no special requirements to get the rewards and the players only need a little determination and luck for the same. The items being made available from Dec. 1 include:

  • Cake (Topper)
  • Conversion Gel (Rocket Trail)
  • Propulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
  • Repulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
  • Aperture Laboratories (Antenna)
  • Cake Sticker (Antenna)
  • Companion Cube (Antenna)
  • Personality Core (Antenna)
  • PotatOS (Antenna)

The new content comes just weeks before the winter event of “Rocket League," which starts this Dec. 14. Polygon reports that the game will be receiving new content this season. Highlights of the update include a new mode called Snow Day, which allows the players to play hockey instead of soccer.
