Horror fans will have something to celebrate about the holiday season aside from the obvious occasion. The PlayStation 12 Deals of Christmas is bringing more titles, this time to bring cheer to those who love the macabre and the murderous.

There's still time to catch the ongoing sale for the eighth part of the 12 Deals of Christmas. For this instalment, "The Evil Within" and "Bound by Flame" are out for the PS4, with the former discounted at AU$39.95 and the latter now at $19.99 and an additional 10% discount for PS Plus members.

PS3 players also get a shot at "The Evil Within," while also having "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" discounted at a low price of AU$6.79. For the PS Vita, Sony is offering "The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season" at AU$11.95.

And while that is still ongoing with a few hours left, the PlayStation Blog has already announced the ninth installment of the 12 Deals of Christmas, set to go live later, Dec. 17 and will last for 48 hours.

This time, the PS4 is taking a break as "Rain" arrives on the PS3 at AU$10.35 and "Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut" on the PS Vita at AU$8.85. Both are offered with an additional 10% discount if you are a PS Plus member.

The rest of the sale involves movie rentals depending on which area you are in. for Australia, Sony is offering "A Good Day to Die Hard" at AU$2.99.

Once the Christmas sale ends and 2015 dawns, this still does not mean the end of the onslaught of games from Sony and for the PS4. With all the announcements that have been teased at the PlayStation Experience, fans are in for a whole lot of games.

One of them is the latest project from Sony Bend, which has already been hinted at way back during the launch of the next-gen console. It has already been more than a year ago, but while there are no new details about the title, DualShockers found some potential information from job ad for the studio.

According to the report, Sony is currently headhunting for a senior staff character technical director who has had experience with development and animation for AAA titles. The job also entails making character design and movement as realistic as possible down to the bodies and clothes. Sony also mentioned the use of motion capture in the procedure.

The fact that it will be an AAA title is a pretty interesting bit of info from Sony, especially since it has already teased a number of indie titles coming out as well as a few exclusives. If the AAA game, which seems to have been in development for a year now, is announced for the PS4, it may make Sony's next-gen console even more of a force to be reckoned with in 2015.
