It has been a great first week for Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra, after her major Hollywood debut in “Quantico.” The ABC series premiered on Sunday, but the viewership has been encouraging for the channel. It became Sunday’s top-rated broadcast entertainment series in young adults.

ABC Nightline made a blunder this week, confusing Chopra with another Indian actress, Yukta Mookhey in a promo advertising the interview with the Bollywood star, Variety reported. The network quickly issued an apology for the mistake, when social media went abuzz with Twitter users pointing out the mistake. Chopra’s interview with “Nightline” airs Tuesday night on ABC.

It has been also been a busy week for Chopra, who stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on MOnday to promote her new drama. The 33-year-old looked stunning in a navy Barbara Bui dress, which she teamed with a pair of grey Christian Louboutin heels, Huffington Post reported.

Her dress featured long sleeves with a plunging deep V neckline that was held together with criss-cross strings. The skirt is from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection (Look 17). It was cinched at the waist with a broad black leather belt, which highlighted Chopra’s tiny waist.

The “Quantico” actress finished her look with her long raven tresses styled in side part and bold red lipstick. Earlier, for her promotions for the drama, Chopra made several sartorial choices in a purple Self-Portrait net crop top and pencil skirt on “Good Morning America,” then she slipped into a LBD by Zuhair Murid for “Live with Kelly & Michelle!” She also opted for an orange Victoria Beckham dress, earlier.

Chopra’s new ABC thriller “Quantico” centres on Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) who is the protagonist and an Indian-American trainee at Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She is suspected of masterminding the biggest terrorist attack on New York since Sept. 11. Alex is on the run to prove her innocent of the terrorism act.

She is also framed in the murder of her fellow recruit, Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), who was found in a pool of blood in her apartment.

Spoiler alert:

ABC has given a sneak peek of Episode 2, “America.” Alex, who is on the run from episode 1, tries to tell Liam O’Connor (Josh Hopkins), assistant director of Quantico that she is innocent. But, he is in no mood to listen to her and buy her argument. He is the one who knows her secret (of Alex killing her father).

In the new episode, Alex has to in some way “outsmart Liam and his team and get to her apartment” to find any clue to clear her name. “ Suspect is armed, desperate, extremely dangerous and highly trained. I want her alive – if possible,” Liam said to his team, according to People. Meanwhile, in a flashback to the Quantico base, the new FBI recruits are given a task of finding a needle in a haystack while looking for potential threats to national security.

In a major development, “Quantico” added about 4 million from same-night (7.14 million) to Live+3 (11.11 million), according to Neilson survey. Also, after online streaming of three days, the drama has garnered 830,251 viewers and got its total to about 12 million.

ABC also aired an encore of the premiere on Tuesday which got about 4.2 million total viewers. The network also announced that the show would again air a repeat of Episode 2 of “Quantico” on Tuesday.

“Quantico” airs at 10 p.m. Sunday on ABC.
