Prince George is reportedly becoming a people’s person as he was recently spotted hugging his new playmate during a vacation with his mother, the very pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

OK magazine has captured photos of the young prince enjoying his time while on vacation with Kate Middleton in Bucklebury, Berkshire. Prince George and the very pregnant Kate Middleton were spotted on a playdate as they joined other kids at Snettisham Park, petting animals and playing around haystacks.

Sources told the publication that Prince George wasn’t even shy at all when he made a dash for a sandpit where a toy tractor was available to ride on. There were reportedly also three little girls at the play area. However, according to the publication, instead of riding the truck, Prince George “started digging in the sand with a bucket and a spade looking to impress his new female playmates.”

The young prince reportedly even managed to escape from Kate Middleton after climbing a wooden ladder so he could join his female playmates. “’Georgie,’ as the 33-year-old was calling her son, made a beeline back to the little girls” after the Duchess of Cambridge has helped him climb up the wooden climbing frame.

When it was time to leave the park, Prince George even gave a sweet farewell to his newfound playmates. A photo shared by OK magazine showed the little royal hugging one of the girls.

Kate Middleton spent quality time with Prince George before heading back to Kensington Palace in preparation for her second baby’s birth. The Duchess of Cambridge is rumoured to give birth to baby no. 2 on April 25. The private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London has been prepped up for the royal baby’s birth.

However, royal aides told The Daily Telegraph that the Duchess of Cambridge plans to go back to Bucklebury to be with her parents if her pregnancy drags on. She reportedly also has plans of staying at her cottage home in Anmer Hall. Thus, two local hospitals, the Royal Berkshire in Reading and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, are said to be on standby incase Kate Middleton gives birth outside of London.
