When “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B premieres on Freeform, formerly known as ABC Family on Monday, the liars are all grown up after the five-year time jump and are all 21-years-old. It was reported in a teaser dropped by ABC Family that Big Bad is related to one of the liars. It has now been revealed that the new Big Bad is a male.

Spoilers ahead, read only if you want to know more:

Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) are all back in Rosewood. Now a new threat “Big Bad” is after the girls and he is worse than A. In the mid-Season finale of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6, viewers came to know A to be CeCe Drake or Charlotte, Alison’s older sister.

Now there are possibilities that the new Big Bad is Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker). Jason is Alison’s older brother, Bustle reports. Show creator I. Marlene King made a shocking revelation and said that Big Bad is related to one of the liars.

She was speaking to TV Guide about the antagonist. She had earlier said that Big Bad was much more dangerous that CeCe Drake. “By the end of [Season] 6B, you will pretty much know who or who’s related to this big bad,” King teased. There is not much information of the new Season in terms of plot.

Charlotte is shown to be undergoing therapy and due course most likely will be released, according to previews. Jason is reportedly upset with his sister Charlotte, as they both dated when she was posing as CeCe Drake. She had also drugged Jason and left him on a floor at Radley, which she intended to blow up.

Meanwhile, Jason knows all the liars very well including a brief romance with Aria. He is also related to Spencer (brother) and so has easy access to the girls and he fits into their life without being suspected.

In another development, Charlie Craig returns to “Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Joe Dougherty, Deadline reports.

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B returns on Jan. 12 on Freeform, formerly known as ABC Family, in the US.
