The President of the United States of America had a star-studded birthday dinner at the Aragon Entertainment Centre in his hometown of Chicago on Wednesday night as celebrities serenaded him on his big day.

Although the President of USA wishes to spend his birthday today inside his office dealing with usual leadership priorities, a special celebration was held yesterday in Chicago's Aragon Entertainment Centre. The event is made possible by the country's Democratic National Committee (DNC), and the President addressed the leaders on the eve of his birthday.

Singer Jennifer Hudson graced the event, who sang a special "happy birthday" song just for the President. Jazz music legend Herbie Hancock also came, who greeted Obama with a warm handshake and a song to light up his day. The massive event, originally a fundraiser for the 2012 campaign, was attended by a crowd of more than 2,400 democrats who were all treated with Hudson and Hancock's performances. Those who attended enjoyed the event, which meant a lot to the President who is currently experiencing the lowest ratings of his Presidency since he swore to office.

On his speech, Obama mentioned the struggles his presidency experienced for the past month, pertaining to the debt dispute which ended last Tuesday.
