Experts in the music industry see Amy Winehouse as a true talent and therefore a posthumous release for a third album is highly imminent, reports the Telegraph.

The cry for a posthumous release for a Winehuse album came louder when the late singer’s 2006 album, “Back to Black” topped iTunes chart barely two hours after news of her death shocked the world. The “Rehab” hitmaker joins stars who died young at 27.

Citing a report by the Telegraph, the Hindustan Times noted that the songs Winehouse had been working on for two years before her death will constitute her third album.

Though these songs are at ‘demo stage’ noted Telegraph, it is believed that there are a number of available materials to complete an album and is expected to entice her fans to get hold a copy of following the English singer’s untimely death.

“It is inevitable that her death will elevate her reputation and that there will be a third record released,” the editor-in-chief of Mojo magazine, Phil Alexander said.

Adam Liversage of the British Phonographic Industry emphasized that the songs of Amy Winehouse “have become standards”.

“Already there has been a lot of anticipation for a new album and if it was released posthumously that will only increase the interest in her,” Liversage added.

The industry experts may have all figured out how a posthumous album for Winehouse will be received by its fans, but the singer’s parents Mitch and Janis will give the green light. An approval from Amy’s parents is expected to generate more sales and could outsell Back to Black’s five million copies.

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home over the weekend. She was 27.
