Bruce Jenner shocked everyone on Friday night when he told ABC's Diane Sawyer, “I am a woman.” In her recent interview, Bruce's step-daughter Kim Kardashian has now broken her silence on her dad's gender change and called it an “adjustment” that her family has to undergo. She also revealed that the Kardashian-Jenner family has sought therapy to help them get used to the new changes.

Bruce's children showed support for him on social media by writing positive messages for him and telling him how brave he was to come out as a woman. Bruce told Sawyer on the show that Kim showed maximum support to his decision of gender change. But for Kim and other members of the family, it is a big change in their lives and the family is dealing with it in their own way.

"I think there is still an adjustment and there's, you know, family therapy," Kim is quoted as saying in an exclusive interview with TODAY's Matt Lauer, "And we're really close. You know, I— I see reports that say, you know, 'This one doesn't support him,' and, 'This one's over here,' and my mom, 'feels this way.' And it's all really so made up," she added, referring to various media reports on Bruce and her mom Kris Jenner.

The 37-year-old reality star also said that they really support Bruce in his decision to change his gender but said the Kardashian-Jenner family will need “hard adjustment.” Kim's full interview with Matt will air on TODAY Monday morning. On Friday evening, Kim posted several positive messages for Bruce on her Twitter account after the “Bruce Jenner: The Interview” was aired on ABC News. The reality star wrote on Twitter that “Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself” and her dad has just done so, so she is a “proud daughter.”

Kim also called Bruce her “hero” and said she respected him; and his revelation has “opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life.” In his candid interview with Diane Sawyer, Bruce also recalled an incident when Kim accidentally saw him dress as a woman. She rushed out of the house and did not confront Bruce on it. However, Bruce said that he discussed his state of mind with his daughter and she listened to it patiently. Her rapper husband Kanye West helped Kim understand what Bruce was going through and she became more receptive of her step-dad, said Bruce during his interview.
