The Japanese animation “Pokemon” is getting another season in its hometown. And alongside this announcement is the reveal of the new Zygarde forms.

The Pokemon Company has officially unveiled the different evolution looks of the legendary Pokemon in “Pokemon X and Y.” According to the official Pokemon website, the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde takes on many forms, starting with the Zygarde cell. In this form, the Zygarde has no thought process, will or any moves.

The Zygarde Core sees a little development, wherein it can now communicate with other Cells and Cores using telepathy. It should be noted that, based on the design, the Zygarde Core appears to be the mysterious green Pokemon blob sighted in the latest movie.

The third evolution is the Zygarde 10%Forme, which takes on the shape of a dog. It is formed when 10 percent of the Cells are gathered by the Zygarde Core. This form already has the power to travel at the speed of 100 km/h and can use its fangs to attack the enemy.

There’s also the Zygarde 50% Forme, which is the more known form of the Legendary Pokemon. This form already has the power to watch over the ecosystem despite only having 50 percent of Zygarde cells in it.

Finally, the Zygarde Complete Forme gathers 100 percent of the Cells, the evolution sees a powerful being, one that is more powerful than both the Legendary Pokemon Xerneas and Yveltal. This complete form only takes shape when the Zygarde 50% Forme feels that there is a great threat to the ecosystem that cannot be handled the current form.

With the unveiling of the Zygarde forms also come the speculations of whether this hints at the long-awaited “Pokemon Z” complementing 2013’s “Pokemon X and Y.” This is fueled by the fact that GameFreak and The Pokemon Company have yet to announce a new main game for the franchise.

The newest season of “Pokemon” will beging airing on Oct.29 in Japan. There appears to be plans for a North American and European release, but The Pokemon Company has not yet confirmed any details. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the newest trailer for the anime, spotted by Pokemon source Serebii, which was also the first to report on the leaked scans of CoroCoro bearing the new Pokemon forms. Note that it also mentions “Pokemon XY & Z,” which can be another hint towards a possible “Pokemon Z” in the future.
