After her tirade on Twitter last month against fat shakers, Pink let her body shamers know just how annoying they really are. The singer, more known for having a tough persona, said she might be “tough as nails,” but she is human as well so she feels hurt when bullied.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the BMI Pop Awards, Pink clarified the feisty statements she tweeted last month after some took to their social media accounts and bashed her for being fat in a dress, while she attended a cancer benefit. She shared her real feelings over the fat shaming she had been receiving.

First, she said that as a “human being,” she is not immune to being hurt when thrown negative comments. She said that in general, she hates bullies and bullying. She added that she is not the person that would allow others to bully her or stand by watching others getting bullied. She added that she might be “tough,” but this does not mean she is not human incapable of having feelings.

She questioned bullies’ high regard for their own selves too, essentially stating that they think too highly of their own opinions and they have no right to make others feel bad.

"I think people have gotten it wrong. They think their opinion matters and holds weight and I don't know where or why they're giving themselves so much credit you know?" Pink explained. "So I thought it was important for me to remind them that I don't care,” she added. She explained that her life is full and happy. She added that she likes to cook and live.

Back in April, in a long message posted on Twitter (via E Online), Pink let her social media haters or bullies have a piece of her mind. Most of the bullies have a contention against her “weight,” and Pink put it out there that she is unfazed and feel beautiful. In her post, she elucidated that her haters need not be “concerned” about her because she is not concerned about herself. She added that she is not concerned with other people, too, pointing out that her body is “crazy strong.” Her post garnered strong support among her fans.
