“Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson has got divorced from her husband of more than seven years Rick Salomon; their representatives have confirmed. Pamela will get U.S. $1 million in exchange in the settlement. The couple were married since 2007 and filed for divorce in February this year.

Pamela was called a "serial baby killer" in court documents by her now ex-husband Rick, says Yahoo News. TMZ also added that the actress held Rick's dog Bumblebee as hostage for a week and also accused Rick for being bad in sex. But new reports by People magazine say that Rick and his Rottweiler dog “have been living in Las Vegas” even since Pamela filed for divorce in California in February.

Apart from these accusations, Pamela also sought a restraining order against Rick. She alleged that Rick was not telling that truth about his Nevada residency in order to get a relief from paying income taxes on more than U.S. $40 million dollars that he won at a poker game. But the ex-couple has now reached a deal by a court as Nevada does not have state taxes. The actress will take back her restraining order from Rick's Nevada residency matter and in return she will get more than U.S. $1 million in exchange.

Post their ugly public divorce, Rick and Pamela released a joint statement. “Public divorces can be harsh and cruel - we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused-we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on,” the ex-couple said in a statement, according to TMZ. “There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.”

People magazine also quotes an unnamed source as saying that Pamela is still “devastated” after the divorce from Rick and the couple tried their best to resolve their difference but could not. The source also added that there was no money factor involved in their divorce as Pamela had “her own money.” There has been a lot of miscommunication between them. The main reason for their divorce, as cited by a source close to People, is the difference in their lifestyles.
