There are a lot of tech companies that make killer smartphones packed with impressive specifications and features. More impressively, the handsets provide great under-the-hood performance even when the price range is not over-the-top. One such company is Oppo. Oppo's N1, N1 Mini and Find 7 are just some of the company's popular products. Now, the company is gearing up to release the much-anticipated and powerful Oppo N3 on Oct. 29.

The first country to receive the Oppo N3 is Singapore. Oppo announced the Singapore launch of its N3 smartphone via its official Twitter account. If reports are true, many other regions will follow after the device's Singapore debut. The unique selling point of Oppo phones is the rotating camera, also known as the swivelling camera. Oppo N1 and Oppo N1 Mini feature this sensor, reports Phone Arena.

It is not surprising that Oppo phones are selfie-lovers' dream come true. The Oppo N1 Mini sports a 13 MP rear-facing camera unit with LED flash, and the camera unit can be swivelled (turned back and forth). Hence, there is no need for a secondary unit. Oppo owners can use the same 13 MP main camera as their selfie camera, guaranteeing high-quality and picture-perfect selfies.

Speaking of selfies, there are many selfie-centric smartphones in the market with units ranging from 5 MP to 8 MP shooters mounted in the front. The recent example would be the Nokia Lumia 730, also known as the "selfie phone," which has a 5 MP front camera. However, 13 MP in Oppo handsets take the selfie shots to a whole new level.

Oppo will offer N3 in two variants. One of the versions comes with stainless steel chassis, whereas the other model features an aluminium-lithium alloy exterior. The latter version is lighter but features a durable build. Moreover, the upcoming Oppo N3 is the successor of the well-known Oppo N1. It is worth noting that there is no Oppo N2 in the market.

Other reported specifications of the Oppo N3 include an impressive 5.9-inch display complemented by 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and will be backed by a powerful 3 GB of RAM. As explained earlier, the smartphone will be able to rotate 206 degrees with a 13 MP unit. In addition, a dual-LED flash will aid the shots, says Phone Arena. However, there has been no realistic image/render of the Oppo N3 available at this point.
