Emma Swan’s family and friends will do anything to save her from being the new Dark One in “Once Upon a Time,” or "OUAT" Season 5. However, the "OUAT" character that will feel the most pressure in bringing back Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) from the dark side is Regina Mills/Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). [Spoiler Alert!]

The promo video of “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 episode 2, titled “The Price,” teases the problems Regina will face because of the new Dark One. In the promo video, Emma Swan/Dark Swan tells Regina that a problem is headed to Storybrooke and only a Savior can solve it.

Aside from the new problem in Storybrooke, Regina will deal with her relationship with the other "OUAT" characters. The promo video also teases that Regina feels helpless when it comes to rescuing Emma because she believes the Storybrooke heroes thinks she is not capable of becoming the Savior.

Show creator Edward Kitsis teased that the fans will see Regina’s struggles with her new role in town because she is forced into the leadership position in Storybrooke, where the residents are still frightened of her or angry at her because of what she did in the past when she was still evil. “It’s one thing to ask everyone’s forgiveness, it’s another thing to lead people,” Kitsis explained.

"OUAT" cast member Lana Parrilla teased in an Entertainment Weekly, or EW, report that the fans will see Regina’s journey of exploring her hero/Savior role in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5. Parrilla added that the upcoming episodes will show how Regina evolves into this new role and where she will end up.

However, Kitsis teased that the fans should not expect Regina to eagerly accept the Savior role in Storybrooke. “Emma sacrificed herself for Regina’s happiness, and if you know Regina, nothing pisses her off more than owing someone,” Kitsis explained in the EW report.

Something happened in Camelot in the new season’s premiere episode because it made Emma Swan completely embrace the darkness and become the new Dark One. The upcoming episodes of ABC’s fairy tale drama series are expected to reveal what happens next, especially since the Dark Swan swore she will make the Storybrooke heroes pay for what they did to her in Camelot.

“Once Upon a Time” Season 5 will return with episode 2 titled “The Price” on Sunday night, Oct. 4, at 8/7c on ABC.
