Both Nokia Lumia 730 (aka selfie phone) and Sony Xperia E3 will be released in September across the globe. However, the Sony handset has already been released in selected markets in Asia. The Sony Xperia E3 comes with a 4.5-inch IPS display complemented by 480 x 854 pixels resolution and 218 ppi pixel density. Meanwhile, the Nokia Lumia 730 feature a relatively bigger 4.7-inch AMOLED display bundled with 720 x 1,280 pixels resolution and 316 ppi pixel density.

Both the handsets are powered by the same quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) Cortex-A7 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, the Lumia 730 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS, whereas the Sony Xperia E3 runs on Android OS v4.4.2 KitKat.

As far as the memory goes, the Nokia device comes equipped with 8 GB internal storage capacity, whereas the Sony handset comes with 4 GB storage. Nevertheless, both the phones support microSD card for expansion up to 32 GB.

Camera And Battery

The Sony Xperia E3 houses a 5 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a VGA shooter as the front-facing unit. The Lumia 730, on the other hand, sports a relatively better 6.7 MP rear-facing camera with the famous Carl Zeiss lens and a surprisingly good 5 MP secondary shooter for capturing killer selfies. 1. Apart from supporting the standard connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB, the devices also support NFC. While the Sony device supports 4G LTE, there is no word available on the Nokia handset at this point.
