U.S. carrier Sprint now offers the Nokia Lumia 635 Windows Phone handset. The customers can reportedly get their hands on the device on a two-year contract.

According to a GSMArena report, the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone is available at Sprint Wireless for $0 on a two-year contract. The other Sprint Easy Pay offer has the device set at $7 monthly price for 24 months.

As for the off-contract price of the Nokia Lumia 635, a Win Beta report claimed that the interest consumers can purchase the device with the outright price of $168.

"This is really the representation of our restart of the partnership with Sprint. We'll expand that portfolio over time," Matt Rothschild, head of the North American sales for Microsoft's mobile devices division that makes Lumia phones, stated in a PC Mag report last December 2014.

The report further claimed that the Nokia Lumia 635 Windows Phone handset will have Sprint's high-speed Spark network but not the carrier's HD Voice or Wi-Fi calling features. However, Matt Rothschild stated that the features could be added in a software update.

"We will absolutely look to broadening the portfolio at all price tiers and all experiences," Rothschild declared. The Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, ClearBlack display, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB of RAM, Adreno 305 GPU and Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

The other features and specs of the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone include a 5 MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, geo-tagging and panorama features, 8 GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot that expands memory storage up to 128 GB, OneDrive with 15 GB cloud storage, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and a 1,830 mAh Li-Ion battery that has stand-by up to 648 h, talk time up to 12 h on 2G while up to 14 h on 3G and music play up to 58 h. The interest consumers can choose from the different colour options available which are bright orange, bright yellow, bright green, white and black.
