Nokia Lumia 830, Nokia Lumia 930: Gold Edition Of Windows Phone Handset Launches In Vietnam

The latest reports on the Nokia Lumia 830 and Nokia Lumia 930 Gold Edition claim that the Windows Phone handset has been launched in Vietnam. Both devices will reportedly be available in the usual retailers with the colour choices of white and black.

According to a WMPoweruser report, Web site Techrum.vn confirmed that the Gold Edition Nokia Lumia 830 and 930 got launched in Vietnam. The report further revealed that the price for the Nokia Lumia 930 has been set at 10.9 million Vietnamese Dong (VND) (approximately $510) while the Nokia Lumia 830 price has been set at 7.99 million VND ($374).

A GSMArena report revealed that there are only 99 numbered units of the 24k gold-plated Nokia Lumia 930 being made by the Vietnamese luxury brand Karalux. The Windows Phone handset has a Greek meander pattern on the outer gold frame with the words "24K Gold Plated Nokia Lumia 930" inscribed. Click HERE to see photos.

The Nokia Lumia 830 has a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, Adreno 305 GPU and Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. Other features and specs include 16 GB internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot in order to expand memory storage up to 128GB, 10 MP primary camera, a secondary 0.9 MP camera, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, a wireless charging feature that is Qi-enabled, 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery and available colour choices of orange, green, white and black.

Meanwhile the Nokia Lumia 930 features and specs include a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS, 20 MP primary camera, 1.2 MP secondary camera and 32 GB internal storage capacity.

There is no microSD card slot available on the Windows Phone handset for memory storage expansion. The additional features and specs found on the device include a 2420 mAh Li-Ion battery, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, wireless charging feature and the available colour choices of bright orange, bright green, white and black.
