Google's HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet with LTE support will be released in December. T-Mobile is the chosen carrier to sell the tablet. However, T-Mobile does not have the exact Nexus 9 release date at this point, though the device is reportedly expected to hit the store shelves in early December.

T-Mobile will be offering the HTC Nexus 9 tablet with 32 GB of internal storage capacity and LTE connectivity. The device is expected to be more expensive than the Wi-Fi only variant. Potential buyers interested in a contract-based Nexus 9 can opt for T-Mobile's plan of 24 monthly payments of US$24.99 with no down payment. This means that the total is roughly US$599.76. The aforementioned amount is lesser than the Motorola-made Nexus 6 smartphone, which is US$649.92 under a T-Mobile contract, according to Phone Arena.

Lauded by critics and reviewers, the Nexus 9 is reportedly one of the best Android tablets available in the market. The Nexus 9 is the first tablet to run on Google's latest OS version Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out of the box. It is also the first device in the Nexus lineup to feature the humongous 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with 1,536 x 2,048 pixels resolution.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 Denver processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz and backed by a respectable 2 GB of RAM. The graphic unit is handled by Kepler DX1. The device features an 8 MP rear-facing unit with LED flash, in addition to a 1.6 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. This whole configuration is held together by a killer Li-Po 6,700 mAh battery unit. The battery has the capacity to provide nine hours and 30 minutes of multimedia (3G) talk time and 720 hours of 3G standby time. The device is available in 16 GB and 32 GB versions, with no microSD card support for expansion.

Apart from the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, LTE and Bluetooth, the tablet also supports NFC. Lastly, the device boasts BoomSound speakers for quality audio.
