Online Retailer, Newegg.com has listed the release date and price details of Microsoft Windows 10, according to reports.

Newegg.com has revealed the pricing for OEM copies of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro and is also accepting pre-orders, reports ZDNet that had first spotted the listing.

According to the listings at Newegg.com via ZDNet, while the Home Edition of Windows 10 is priced at $109, the Professional edition will come at a price of $149 and the new versions will be delivered to OEMs on August 31.

Microsoft has been tightlipped about the exact release date of the latest version of its operating system, reports CNET. In March, the company said, Windows 10 would be launched this summer and if Newegg’s information is correct, then consumers can get Windows 10 by the end of summer, according to CNET.

Newegg was also the first online retailer to accept pre-orders for Windows 8 in 2012, mentions ZDNet. In terms of prices of the two new versions, the publication points out that the Windows 10 and Windows 10 Pro are $10 costlier than Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro when they were introduced.

At the Microsoft ‘Ignite Conference’ that was held from May 4 to May 8, the company had announced that Windows 10 OS could possibly be the last Windows OS from the company. On May 13, Microsoft announced new editions of Windows 10 that would suit various categories of devices. Subsequently, on May 15, the software giant announced that Windows 10 will not be free for those who do not own legitimate licences.

According to a report on India Today, the new version will combine the conventional Windows 7 interface and the modern aspects of Windows 8.1. Besides that, the OS will launch universal apps for every device that runs on the Windows 10 OS. With Continuum and Spartan browser, the new OS may get an edge over other major operating systems. The Phone version of the Windows 10 is likely to be launched later this year, reports India Today.
