The British designer unveiled her new Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the New York Fashion Week inside Cipriani in lower Manhattan on Sunday. Known for her love for an all-black look, she took to the stage at the end of the show in a little black dress.

The brunette beauty walked the catwalk in a chic short sleeve mini dress with a plunging neckline. The dress from her collection featured layered detailing on the skirt and a front slit. She accessorised her look with a pair of black stilettos, Hello reported.

Her long brunette tresses were tied into a wavy ponytail. Her make-up consisted of dramatic smoky eyes.

Victoria’s new collection also featured her minimalist style. Models strutted down the runway in everything including colourful pleated skirts, tailored tops and plaid patterned dresses, rocking chic flat shoes in black or white.

There were also knit dresses, some without sleeves, others having a slight peplum giving cool and effortless vibes. But soon enough it was clear that print was the true star of the show.

But, the highlight of her show was prints like surf scenes, with black brush strokes that resembled calligraphy and surfaced on blouses, edges of A-line skirts and knee-length dresses. Victoria added that for her “it’s a big print season.” The designer said backstage after the show that her collection is not about the beach. “It's a very different attitude. It's more about the city,” she said.

That was evident in the elegant, yet relaxed, frocks, that made their way down the runway inside Cipriani in lower Manhattan, They were light and easy enough to catch a cool breeze, but sufficiently chic so that the wearer wouldn't draw side glances while sipping cocktails at Jimmy at the James.

Supporting her from the front row was her retired footballer husband David Beckham and their elder child Brooklyn Beckham. “Amazing show @victoriabeckham,” the former England football captain captioned a picture of the show finale that he shared with his 11.8 million Instagram followers.

Meanwhile, the stylish teen Brooklyn took to the photo sharing app and congratulated his mom for the show sharing the same picture in greyscale. “Another amazing show. Well done mum,” he wrote.

The 41-year-old former Spice Girl created a name for herself in the fashion industry with her designs. Beckham wowed the industry biggies at the spring edition of the NYFW in February.
