The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is reportedly still months away from being released to the market, but a new concept design for the device has surfaced. This leaked possible look of the Korean tech company’s upcoming flagship phablet envisions a super-sized Galaxy S6 that is covered from top to bottom in metal and glass.

Based on the concept design, it looks like the phablet’s metal frame will be quite similar with that of the Galaxy Note 4. What makes it different, however, is that its back portion is no longer made of plastic and it cannot be removed from the body of the device. Moreover, Techno Buffalo has also pointed out that the front portion of the unit is covered in a special glass called Gorilla Glass 4.

The device will reportedly sport a 5.9-inch 4K display, 64 GB to 128 GB of storage with added support of up to 256 GB from a microSD card, as well as a 4,100 mAh battery. According to the rumor mill, the unit will also be featuring a fingerprint reader that has been readily built into its home button, just like in the Galaxy S6.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 5 is also rumored to get an S Pen stylus. What separates this particular feature from the unit’s predecessors is that it is reportedly going to be twice as sensitive. And, lastly, rumors have stated that the upcoming phablet will be launched with the Android 5.0 Lollipop, along with the latest version of Samsung’s Knox security software and TouchWiz.

In addition to the leaked concept design, Technobezz also posted a concept video of the device on YouTube last month. To date, it has managed to get more than 60,000 views. As seen in the video clip, the Galaxy Note 5 is going to sport a metallic, all-aluminum body.

According to Latinos Post, Samsung purposely made these changes to make it more at par with Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus. However, the report did mention that there might also be “faux leather” variants when the unit is finally launched.
