Android 5.0 Lollipop Update For Samsung Galaxy Note 2

According to Sam Mobile, the Galaxy Note 2 users have apparently been waiting for a long time for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. It is worth noting that, many OEMs guarantee to update the handsets with the latest software, only for two years from the time of launch. Therefore, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has already crossed the ambit and hence, it is ineligible at this point. But then, as a silver lining, the tech giant’s regional wing reportedly confirmed earlier that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy Note 2 is under consideration.

On the other hand, so far, no Lollipop builds for the Galaxy Note 2 have cropped up in Samsung’s servers, notes Sam Mobile. In the meantime, Samsung’s Gulf wing has reportedly confirmed that the Note 2 will not get the Lollipop update. On the contrary, Samsung Spain unit has apparently confirmed that the Galaxy Note 2 is in-line to get the Lollipop update. However, the caveat is that, Samsung will apparently roll out the update after thorough testing to make sure there are no issues pertaining to this update. Therefore, it is a matter of time before Samsung officialises its update for the deserving Galaxy Note 2.
