It looks like Ramsay Street will be filled with different kinds of threats on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Thursday, Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) begins to suspect that Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) is out to get Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor). After getting past of their issue on Steph’s ex, she and Mark seem to hit another stumbling block on their relationship. Fans wonder what Elly’s true intentions are with Mark, and whether Steph has a valid reason to be jealous.

Meanwhile, Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey) is being bombarded with warnings after she shows support on Karl Kennedy’s (Alan Fletcher) bike lane campaign. She and Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) are determined to find out who’s behind the terrorising acts. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the July 28 episode include Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Mer), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich), Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen) and Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire).

Channel Eleven posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode. In the trailer, Mark drops by the Kennedy’s and sees Elly wrapped with only a towel. It seems Elly is definitely making a move on him, something that Steph begins to suspect. Steph confronts Mark about the his photo with Elly. Digital Spy reports that Mark reckons Elly was just trying to get back at her ex. Steph is still not convinced and Mark accuses her of being jealous. She denies it at first, but later on admits that she’s jealous of Elly.

Meanwhile, Karl happily informs Susan that Sonya’s on board with his campaign of installing bike lanes on the roads. However, it looks like someone doesn’t share his enthusiasm – they find someone spray painted “die” on her car’s windshield. Digital Spy spoilers say that the scare tactic doesn’t stop there – as she’s talking to Toadie, someone smashes a brick through his office.

“Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, both Terese and Piper were feeling down – Terese about Paul’s threat to fire her from Lassiters, and Piper about Paige and Tyler’s one night stand. Paul was determined to get Lassiters back. Steph confronted him about it, wondering why she had to hear about it from Terese and not him. Paul apologised and told Steph that she’ll have to look for a financier to buy Paul’s share. Steph asked for assurance that Paul won’t ruin her business, and he promised he won’t do anything to hurt her.

Madison invited over Lucy to talk about Paul’s plans to buy Lassiters. It seemed Lucy’s bent on giving her high recommendations for Paul. They talked about Terese, but Lucy said she can’t help Terese if Paul succeeds on buying Lassiters from the Quills. At Waterhole, Madison and Terese had a talk about it more. Madison brought to the table another option: what if somebody else buys Lassiters? Madison suggested Terese could do it. Terese couldn’t seem to wrap her head around the possibility of going head to head with such an influential man. Later, Susan came over to talk about Piper’s bad behaviour and their conversation shifted to Lassiters. Like Madison, Susan encouraged her to bid for the hotel.

Elly received a text message and she acted weird about it. When Susan and Karl asked if she’s okay, she assured them she’s fine. However, when she got into her car, she totally broke down. She drove off crying, and almost ran over Steph and Jimmy. Steph recognised that the car belonged to Elly, and wasted no time telling Mark about it. Later at school, she tried to make small talk with Piper and Ben. Piper rudely talked to her about moving on from a failed relationship, which seemed to have hit a nerve on Elly. Upset, Elly walked off crying.

Later, Mark went to the school to question Elly about her negligent driving earlier. She admitted that she was crying while behind the wheel, then opened up to Mark about her ex-boyfriend. It seemed her ex is having the time of his life with his new girlfriend and has been posting photos in Instagram. Mark sympathised with Elly and shared about his own reckless behaviour after a break-up. He gave her a warning about the road incident, and when Steph wasn’t too happy about the seemingly light penalty. Steph suspected that Mark was punishing her for what happened with Belinda, but he justified his decision.

Later at home, Steph and Charlie talked about their near-accident. He said Elly wasn’t the type of person who’d do something like that deliberately. Steph was surprised he already met her, and Charlie shared that he bumped into her at the pool when she was hanging out with Mark. Steph looked pensive with what she heard. She looked up Elly’s profile on Facebook and was floored to see Elly’s selfie with Mark. It was captioned, “This guy!” with a heart and fire emoji.
