An exciting and juicy girl fight awaits fans of “Neighbours” on its upcoming episode. On Tuesday, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) refuses to back down from a battle with her new teacher, Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta). Piper suspects that Elly slept with Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), and the older woman seems to love teasing the poor girl. Spoilers indicate that it’s not just Piper who’ll be incensed about Elly’s arrival in Erinsborough, especially since she becomes too friendly and flirty with the men.

Meanwhile, things are not looking up either for Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Mer), who gets not one, but two shocking pieces of news after the school dance. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the July 19 episode include Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire), Belinda Bell (Nikki Shiels), Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Tom Quill (Kane Felsinger), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall) and Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich).

Channel Eleven posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode. In the trailer, Elly seems to be making a splash at Ramsay Street, flirting with the boys and the men. Piper doesn’t like it one bit, and confronts Elly if she slept with Tyler. It seems that it’s not Elly whom Piper should be worried about, but Paige. Things get heated between the two and they share a passionate kiss.

Digital Spy reports that the war between Piper and Elly is not over yet. Elly has also won over the hearts of the students at Erinsborough school. The new teacher also tells Piper that Tyler thinks the teen is too immature for him, leaving Piper devastated. Meanwhile, Digital Spy spoilers also say that Xanthe won’t be able to return the dress after she’s seen wearing it at the formal. Ben encourages her to come clean to Gary, who reveals to his daughter that he paid Ben to take her to the formal. Upset, Xanthe breaks up with Ben.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Terese showed Brad Piper’s video, wherein the teen expressed how deep her feelings are for Tyler. Terese was incensed again about Piper’s lies, but Brad assured her he’ll keep his eyes on their daughter at the school dance.

Elsewhere, Susan gave Ben a talk on the “code of conduct.” She wasn’t exactly thrilled when Ben said that he and Xanthe might end up being a couple that night. Over at the Canning’s, Gary and Sheila were raving about how beautiful Xanthe looked. Shortly after, Ben and Susan arrived and he surprised Xanthe when a limousine pulled over. The two young ones had a grand time aboard the limo on the way to the dance.

Meanwhile, as Mark helped his brother prepare for the formal, he reminded Tyler to stick by Terese’s rules, no matter what Piper says or does. However, Tyler found this difficult to follow when Piper told him that she’s willing to go all the way that night with him. Unfortunately, Terese eavesdropped on the conversation and was expectedly raging mad with what she heard. She forbade Piper to go to the formal with Tyler. Terese then kicked Tyler out of the house, making Piper blow her top. A heated mother-and-daughter argument ensued, which was interrupted when Ben and Xanthe arrived. Piper went with them, being unable to stand in the same room with her mum.

Later, Brad saw Tyler at The Waterhole and tried to shoo him out. Mark appeared and stood up for his brother. Piper saw Tyler at the bar flirting with an older woman and pried away Xanthe from Ben’s arms. Xanthe confronted Tyler while Piper was looking on, but Elly refused to let him go. Piper lost it and threw a jug of drink on Elly and drenched Xanthe’s $600-dress in the process.

Tyler loaned his jacket to Elly, who invited him to go home together. He refused, and Susan arrived to get Elly since Brad and Terese wanted to apologise to her. Meanwhile, Xanthe was in a state after ruining the dress that she meant to return after the dance. It didn’t take long for Ben to make her feel so much better, however – he said he’s falling for her and then kissed her. The night didn’t go as well for Piper and Tyler, however. It finally dawned on Tyler that Piper was indeed too young for him, as shown by her behaviour earlier. He said they couldn’t be together, breaking Piper’s heart. Worse, Brad forced Piper to go to the Kennedy’s to apologise. She was floored after seeing Elly there, who turned out to be Susan’s niece and Piper’s new English teacher.
