Ramsay Street faces a series of action-packed events on the next episode of “Neighbours.” On Tuesday, Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley) discovers who the stalker’s real target is, and it’s not Paige Smith (Olympia Valance). The stalker’s actions indicate that he’s after Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), and everyone around her may be in danger, including Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire).

While things turn around for the Cannings in light of the incriminating footage, Gary (Damien Richardson) remains to be the prime suspect. Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard) may be the key to expose the real culprit’s identity, and it’s quite a shocking twist. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Aug.30 episode include Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou).

“Neighbours” also stars Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Ned (Ben Hall), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Karl (Alan Fletcher), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns) and Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Gary insists while at the police station that he didn't even touch Cooper. Mark says, however, that Gary threatened to break Cooper's face and that he shouldn't have been that close to the teenager. Mark informs Gary that he broke the intervention order the moment he approached Cooper. Because Gary committed a criminal offence, Mark has no choice but to inform his parole officer. Gary pleads Mark to settle this another way -- he can't go back to jail. Unfortunately, Mark has to do what is right.

Digital Spy reports that Ben gets a lead that could help Gary, after Alison tells him that Cooper’s mum has a serious temper. It’s possible that Dr Knights was the one who hit Cooper. However, realising that Ben still has feelings for Xanthe, Alison refuses to tell her story to the police.

Jack continues to protect Paige from the stalker, Ari, but later realises that she isn't the real target, according to Digital Spy spoilers. It seems Ari is aiming at Steph, and he drags Charlie into the picture. Meanwhile, Gary’s chances of going to back to prison are pretty high, especially after he went near Cooper. Fortunately, Sheila finds the USB containing the incriminating footage of Xanthe and Cooper. However, Gary remains in trouble, since there are no other suspects in Cooper’s attack.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Amy informed Terese that Ryan still had a copy of the footage from the hidden cameras he planted at Lassiters, and that he plans to expose it during a big event. Amy warned Terese not to destroy the hard drive right away, as it may contain a clip showing what happened between Xanthe and Cooper. When Terese told Tim about this, he insisted that she get rid of the evidence.

Later, Terese went to see Ryan to get the footage. They agreed on an amount, and Ryan sold her the hard drive. When Terese and Tim viewed the footage, they confirmed that Xanthe’s assault was filmed. A debate ensued between Terese and Tim whether they should turn over the footage to the police, risking the hotel’s reputation.

At the station, Mark questioned Cooper again about his attack. Cooper insisted that it was Gary who went after him. Mark then headed to the Cannings and informed them that the attack occurred 15 minutes earlier than originally reported. This meant that Gary’s alibi from Paul Robinson doesn’t check out, making Gary was a suspect again. Mark also served a personal safety intervention order against Gary – he cannot contact or communicate with Cooper by any means. If Gary breaks the order, Mark said it would be seen as a breach of his parole and he would be sent back to prison.

At school, Xanthe was floored when Cooper turned out for film class. He made it clear that he won’t stop bugging her. Xanthe kept this development from her dad, fearing that he would do something that would make him break the intervention order. However, Susan came by to check in on Xanthe and let it slip about Cooper being back to school. Upon hearing this, Gary lashed at Susan for allowing it to happen, which could put Xanthe at risk. He prepared to leave but Susan reminded him of the intervention order. At that point, Xanthe broke down, saying that everytime she sees Cooper, she remembers what he did and how it made her felt. She also could not believe that he’s getting away with it. Gary hugged his daughter to comfort her.

Xanthe and Gary didn’t notice the mail, which included Terese’s anonymous letter. Apparently, she sent over a copy of the footage showing Xanthe’s assault. Later, Gary spotted Cooper with his friends, as he was talking rudely about Xanthe. Gary could not help himself and threatened Cooper. Mark saw the whole thing and had no choice but to arrest Gary.

Meanwhile, Piper didn’t take it well when she found out that Xanthe’s film group received higher grades than her and Ben, despite the fact that the other group didn’t finish their project. Worse, Ben got a higher mark then her, even though they worked together for the film. Elly arrived and caught Piper snooping around. When Piper confronted her about the seemingly unfair grades, Elly could not give her a clear answer. Piper insisted that Elly was giving her lower grades than everyone else because the teacher doesn’t like her.

Elsewhere, Paige continued her religion studies with Jack. Later, Amy doubted that spending too much time with Paige is good for Jack. However, Paige said it was Jack who wanted to be with her and she’s not going to stop him from doing so. Later, Amy warned Jack that he’s playing with fire by keeping her close. Amy also said that Paige seemed like she’s still hoping something’s going to happen between her and Jack. He said that he just needs to keep Paige safe, but he won’t give any other details.
