Toadie’s right, as the trailer shows the snake catcher spying on the Ramsay Street residents. “Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, Charlie escaped Clive’s clutches but the old man chased after him. Meanwhile, Mark told Steph that Charlie’s not in his room. They realised that Charlie’s out to look for the snakes terrorising Ramsay Street. Steph was able to track Charlie down and she lashed at Clive. She called Mark, who immediately went to check up on Clive.

After looking through Clive’s ute and seeing the bricks similar to the one thrown at Toadie’s law office, Mark arrested the opinionated citizen. At the station, Mark confirmed that the bricks are a match. Backed into a corner, Clive had no choice but to confess that he was responsible for vandalising the law office. However, when Mark accused him of releasing the snake in the neighbourhood, Clive denied having any hand at that. Later, Mark and Steph took a walk and he informed her that Clive’s going to be locked up for what he did. The two were relieved that there would be no more snakes lurking around their street, but it seemed danger still hounds the neighbourhood. It appeared that the snake catcher himself has been the one releasing the snakes.

When Susan and Elly went over to Brad’s for a meeting, Elly spotted Ned and flirted with him. Later, Brad and Lauren encouraged Ned to ask Elly out, but he hesitated, seeing how Piper acted around her teacher. Ned said it’s best to keep his distance from Elly for now. When Ned headed out for a job interview at The Waterhole, he spotted Elly who was going for a walk. Things were awkward between them, but they ended up agreeing to walk together. However, Elly panicked when she saw a snake by a rock and screamed for Mark, who was near the area talking with Sonya. The snake catcher arrived and took the snake, much to Elly’s relief.

Later, Ned dropped by the Kennedy’s, just as Aaron shared with Elly about Ned’s former fascination with Lauren. Ned invited her out for drinks and much to everyone’s surprise, she agreed. At The Waterhole, Elly grilled Ned about Lauren, but he denied it and dodged the subject. Later, Ned spotted a biker mate and he looked bothered. Ned said he didn’t want anyone else knowing that he’s back in town.
