The long awaited Motorola DROID Turbo is expected to be unveiled shortly. If reports are true, the handset will be released even before this week ends. Along with the umpteen leaked images, user manuals and specifications, the Twitter account @DroidLanding tweeted recently that "Things are going to get scary, fast" pointing to the Turbo's release. However now, there is a strange viral video with the Motorola DROID Turbo and James Franco featuring in it.

Advertisements are getting creative and unusual nowadays that it is not surprising to see Motorola trying something new with the latest ad. Note sure, if people are going to flock to buy the upcoming device, but the ad will definitely get people talking about the device. The ad shows James Franco with a shaved head, straight from the role he landed in Zeroville, according to Phone Arena.

In the ad, there are several girls recording James riding his bike in circles. The Droid Turbo does not come into picture until the end of the ad. If not for the new handset at the tail-end of the ad, this video clip would have been passed for a strange video from the actor who has the habit of adding unusual content in social media, says the same site. Going by the video, James clicks a snap of the girls at the end with the DROID Turbo hued in red/orange and scoots away. Moreover, the Turbo camera seems to capture the image in a lightning fast manner.

As far as the specification goes, the Motorola DROID Turbo will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch display complemented by a killer resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels and that translates to an impressive pixel density of 565 ppi. The phone will be powered by the latest quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 805) processor clocked at 2.7 GHz and Adreno 420 for graphics. The under the hood configuration is held together by an impressive 3 GB of RAM and is backed by a killer 3900 mAh battery unit. Apparently, this battery can provide up to two days of battery life after a full charge. If opting to use Motorola's efficient Turbo Charger, charging the handset for 15 minutes will provide the 8 hours of battery life.

Furthermore, the smartphone sports a killer 20.7 MP rear-facing camera unit. It is worth noting that, the Sony Xperia Z3 and Meizu MX4 come with the same camera configuration.
