It's quite evident that the South Korean conglomerate Samsung has been banking on the recently released Galaxy Note 4 phablet to turn-around its declining quarter results. Based on the information from a South Korean News1 site, Samsung has sold a total of 4.5 million units of the Galaxy Note 4, within 30 days from its launch on Sept. 26.

However, readers should note that, the company sold 5 million Galaxy Note 3 units in the first 30 days from its launch in 2013. While the Galaxy Note 3 was released widely in many global markets, the Note 4 has not been very lucky in this department. Therefore, with a limited release, the Note 4 is almost there with the sales statistics of the predecessor Note 3, according to GSM Arena.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was debuted in South Korea and China, followed by several other regions in the past one month. Notably, the incredible phablet hit the U.S. store shelves very recently. Furthermore, the latest Samsung device faced some unprecedented roadblocks and hence the release was delayed in the UK and Indian markets and finally, went on sale starting last week. Also it is worth noting that, the company introduced a dual-SIM variant of the Note 4, specific to China several days back. At this point, there is no official information available to ascertain the dual-SIM availability outside China.

Other important point to note is that, the grand total of 4.5 million units does not include the Galaxy Note Edge phablet. The Note Edge comes with similar specs as the Note 4 but the unique selling point is its curved-display on the side of the device. The uniquely-crafted curved screen comes with a thin strip of bent-glass on the side, which can display notifications, stock information, virtual controls, scores and news. Plus, this handset will only see a limited release in selected regions and will go on sale shortly. In the case of the U.S. market, the handset can be availed from Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T for a price equivalent of roughly $1218.

Meanwhile, Samsung is leaving no stones unturned to market its killer phablet. Here is the latest advertisement from the company showcasing the impressive camera unit of the Note 4. [Source: YouTube channel of Samsung Mobile USA]
