Latina actress Sofia Vergara is officially back at work on the set of “Modern Family.” The top-rating ABC comedy series is now in production for its seventh Season.

“First scene of the season with this coworker @ericstonestreet ,” said Vergara as she posed for a photo beside fellow cast member Eric Stonestreet last Friday. She plays the character of Gloria Pritchett, the much younger Colombian wife of family patriarch Joe Pritchett.

Stonestreet plays Cameron Tucker, the husband of Gloria’s stepson Mitchell Pritchett. Vergara officially announced her return and showed off another selfie the following day taken from what appears to be the Pritchett home.

Earlier last the week, the actress had already been showing off several outtakes from her time spent on set. She posted some photos of herself with her on-screen son Fulgencio or Joe Pritchett. For the incoming season, the young boy’s character has been re-cast. Deadline reported earlier that he will now be played by Jeremy Maguire after having been portrayed by young actor Pierce Wallace in the past two seasons.

Based on Vergara’s posts, Maguire is a much older boy and Joe will likely play a bigger role in the upcoming season. The same thing happened to the character of Lily, the adopted daughter of Mitch and Cam. Her character had to be re-cast when over the years to accelerate her growth. Aubrey Anderson-Emmons took over the role from a younger actress.

Speaking of kids, Vergara has a young toddler on the show. However, in real life, she has a grown child. She has been the subject of baby speculations in recent years, but her failed relationship with Nicholas Loeb ended in an embryo custody battle. Now that she’s getting ready to get married again, baby bump watch will likely begin as soon as the wedding cake is cut.

According to E! News, the 43-year-old actress and her 38-year-old fiancé Joe Manganiello have already sent out invitations for their fall wedding. The pair will be getting married in Palm Beach Florida in November.
