Australian model and former Victoria Secret angel Miranda Kerr stunned everyone at the annual Met Gala 2017 on Monday night. The ball was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and was attended by celebrities including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and more.

The 34-year-old supermodel looked happy as she twirled her Oscar de la Renta floral, metallic, off-shoulder gown for the shutterbugs. She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin silver shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch, Cartier jewelery and a wrist watch.

Kerr, who described her style as “classic, functional – and at times little bohemian” in a previous interview with Sydney Morning Herald, smiled for the cameras looking radiant as ever. Though there were many couples at the event, the Sydney-born model's fiance, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, did not accompany her. The two first met at a dinner in Los Angeles for Louis Vuitton. They remained friends for a long time before they started dating.

The ex-wife of actor Orlando Bloom also shared pictures of her getting ready for the gala on social media. Check them out below. One picture shows Kerr applying a face oil from her own brand, Kora Organics. “My #1 beauty product: KORA Organics Noni Glow Face Oil,” she captioned the images.

The founder of the beauty brand does not leave a stone unturned for the promotion of her products. Another picture shows her lying down on the floor with a hydrating mask on her face from the Kora range. “Pre-Met multitasking with @balletbeautiful & my @koraorganicsHydrating Mask,” she captioned another picture.

Kerr has been an advocate of eating healthy and using organic products. In a previous interview, she talked about how a healthy skin is always beautiful. “Choosing fresh, organic – when possible – produce, drinking enough water and using a skincare that is nutrient-rich and full of essential fatty acids,” she told SMH, stressing that it is the sole reason she developed Kora Organics.

This year's Met Gala theme was the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between" exhibition. The event is co-chaired by Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Rei Kawakubo. Rihanna tried her best to stick to the theme by showing up in an over-the-top multi-coloured dress, while model Kendall Jenner showed off her pert derriere in a La Perla Haute Couture Collection gown made entirely of hand-painted crystals.
